Growing up with four sisters, some of my best memories were making up dances in our basement dance room. Nine years ago I built a home studio and started making up dances with my own daughters and nieces, and that's how the magic began. I have a passion for creativity and lifelong learning.
My formal education is in nursing and child development, but teaching and dance have always been my passion. As an adult I got on Pointe and performed in Nutcracker and Cinderella with the Academy of Ballet, it was inspiring to know anyone can get on Pointe at any age. I created a performing arts preschool curriculum and loved my years teaching preschool. Another moment of inspiration was when I had the opportunity to perform with Pure Expressions and dance for Time Out For Women. Dance helps me express my most joyful feelings and I love seeing how it makes others happy. I look forward to each dance class to create, rejoice, and dream with my students!
